The easy answer is - take a little of everything. But that's easier said then done. Temperatures will fluctuate from the high 80's to the 40's. And I already know I can't wear 4 shirts for a month solid....so...
We are lucky that we don't have to "dress for dinner" on this cruise, so that eliminates a lot of extras.
I started with a clothing rack, and started to pull items I wanted to take.
You can see that I put jammies, swimwear and workout wear on the left. I popped in jeans and crops and slacks and a black skirt. Then sorted through shirts to see what went with the most bottoms.
The shoes are below the clothes. I decided to add black flip flops and a sarong scarf for pool duty.
On the far end are jackets, shawls and sweaters.
This is the packing process. Pants first, layered lengthwise, then another dry cleaner bag with tops layered across, next dresses lengthwise etc.
Here's me with my little suitcase. It weighed in at 45 lbs. I was pretty proud of myself until I saw everything else that had to go in...extra hangers, vitamins, liquids, CBD gummies hiding in a licorice bag, guidebooks, a sun hat, extra power cord for the cruise ship.....uggh.
So I went to Ross, Kohls, and finally, The Rack to find a suitcase.
I hate hauling big suitcases, but this whole thing feels like moving to college for a semester! So I succumbed to Tony's "gentle urging" to take a bigger suitcase.
And if I do, this color should stand out at baggage claim!
