Spa

So apparently this is what other people do on vacation.
They rest.
We can learn from this.

We are staying at the Promar Beach Spa somewhere northwest of Lisbon.
It's blissfully uncrowded and has been so good for us to recover from all the travel maladies and stresses.

Mary is here too, watching over us and the fishermen from the top of the rock.

The stones are pretty.

The sand is cool.  Can you see that cute little fungus on the red leaf?

And the kelp is so different from ours.
This lasagna noodle effect is particularly cool.

Back inside, there's an upstairs pool.

The spa with saunas and a therapeutic pool and hot tub is on the main floor.

Our dining room is virtually windows.

And our room is bigger than any room we have had so far.
I cried when I walked in.
Surprising no one.

There has been a lot of resting.
And writing.
And painting.
And beachcombing.
After doing some yoga today, I found this guy.
He was just sitting there waiting to get washed back out to sea.
🤔
I thought about this a lot.
I thought that I had already been swimming in this ocean and nothing stung me.
I thought about how much illness and mishap has impacted this trip.
I thought I'd go upstairs to swim today.

We'll have to leave tomorrow, this has been good for us.
I think relaxing has merit.
We will try it again.

Wow I understand you crying. I almost did seeing Tim’s beautiful apartment. But really your room was bigger than St Cyr de Ballieul?
