Art

On our Days at Sea, Tony and I take some time for our arts.
When we visited Barcelona, I finished a drawing I did last year when we were there for Christmas.
I am in awe of Antoni Gaudi.  I couldn't even copy his building, and he imagined it!

I was bemoaning the fact that there are no plants on board for a color study.  So I grabbed some fallen blooms in Cadiz, Spain.
There is plenty of ocean though.
I got my watercolor book out one of the days and did Lesson 13.
There are 30 lessons.  I have been hauling this book all over Europe.   I'd better get on it!

I finished a sketch of Madiera, from our first cruise this trip.
And one from our days in Tomar, Portugal and the Templar fortress.
And finally, I made a couple of watercolor postcards for the Granderkinder when we had our days at the spa in Portugal.

Your art is quite fantastic. I am so impressed. How fun you can focus on it and relive the sights through your brush.
