Happy, Thankful Veteran's Day.
We have noticed so many red poppy pins internationally here on the boat.
November 11, Day 32
(Finally counted them up)
Today we were treated to a stop in the island chain of the Azores.
Terceira is the name of the island. Praia da Vitoria is the name of the town.
It has those lovely streets that Lisbon is known for.
The beach of the fishing village.
There was wildlife:
Here's a fun fact. I have special knowledge that this chicken is the spirit of a famous author who lived on the island ... or maybe I misunderstood that?
We found these cool buildings.
No. I don't know what it means. Assuming you have Google.
Needs work.
A parade of ReMax agents were patrolling the Pedestrian promenade. We were given brochures, cards and a nifty ReMax bag.
So local now.
It is a beautiful place. I'm glad we got to see a part of it.

I love that your wild life is tethered with a rope. Must be wonderful to see animals again I think I would miss that the most on the high seas. But ships have rats on them. Don't they? Maybe there would always be that. You look so cosmopolitan and in your fancy glasses. Those buildings and streets are amazing. I want to go to Portugal. The fixer house looks great but is it flooded or are the streets just shiny? I'm depending on you picking out where we rent for 3 months. Not only does it need quant atmosphere and warm weather and water and beaches but cheap housing. Cause you know, we will be requiring you to come stay with us.
I think you need to buy that property just for the name! A little hideaway!
