More Paris

Since the major sites seem to be covered and crowded, we found some new gems on this, we think our 5th trip, to Paris.

St Eustice for example.  Not far from Ste Chapelle.
With its heart petaled rose window.
And it's gorgeous painted Pillars.

And the free hugs outside.

And we stumbled upon a new museum (to us), and a peaceful garden in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower.

Musée du quai Branley, Jacques Chirac.  Remember this.
We all decided it was a day well spent.  Spend time here before the Louvre or Musée de Orsay.

There was an exhibit of Kehinde Wiley portraits that was so great I forgot to take photos.

They had 5 floors of a winding display of musical instruments.
Here is the sitar level.

there was a Bollywood exhibit with history of film in India and costumes!

Their main focus is the history of civilization.   We only covered one wing of it and it was fantastic.
This was the path of languages to the entrance to the exhibit.

Polynesia.

The longest dress in the world and how it is wrapped and worn.I think this was from a region near Ahghanistan?

We were fascinated.

And they had a mighty fine Cafe space as well! You may be able to spot the Eiffel Tower in the background.

People watching was quite entertaining.  The city was so vibrant and alive.
Tani Rae and I have so many pictures in our heads that we didn't take...
Tony and I found the site of a former Templar castle.  On Rue du Temple, no less.
It just seems too obvious that the Grail would be there...but is it?

But we did take some time to discuss it.
As always,
We loved it here. ❤️
