Paris 2

Wow!  Was that fun!

We were 4 days in Paris with our friends, the Standridges.  

We both had tiny hotel rooms so we didn't want to spend much time in the room.  As a result, there wasn't  down time to write a blog post!

Paris is in a bit of disarray, currently.  She is getting ready for a big Olympic show next year.

Our Lady is tightly veiled and surrounded in scaffolding and guarded by cranes.

The Opéra is covered by Tiffany .

And Le Musée de Orsay has Plywood walls around it.

But the simple pleasures of this city live on.

The lovely Tuilleries walks.

The ever-present random gifts of art.

The absolutely fabulous public restrooms.

The over the top glorious display windows.

And the love of coffee we all share.

And wine, apparently.
